The Tools

• This chapter starts with a reminder that we not become so enthralled with the tools we are using that we forget that learning is the important thing. It proceeds to give short explanations of what various tools do. In order to keep track of all of the cool things and people you find, they recommend Delicious and Diigo. To connect and collaborate you need to set up a blog and subscribe to blogs you find interesting. They suggest the free and easy tools at Edublog, WordPress, or Tumblr. They like Kidblog for younger students. They also encourage you to use and make podcasts.
