The Authors
- Steven E. Stemler is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Wesleyan University and President of the New England Educational Research Organization. His doctorate is in Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation from Boston College. His area of expertise is testing and assessment, with a special emphasis on the domains of social, emotional, and practical intelligence; creativity; intercultural literacy; and ethical reasoning.
- Damian Bebell is an Assistant Research Professor at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and a Senior Research Associate at the Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation, and Educational Policy. His current research focus is on the effects of 1-to-1 technology programs on teaching and learning, including collaborative research with the Boston and New York City Public Schools. Research interests also include the development and refinement of educational tools and methods, education reform, testing, and the impacts of educational technology on teaching and learning.
