Social Media and An Aging America by Melody Wilding, (@MelodyWilding)

• Melody is a social media strategist, therapist, and coach to female entrepreneurs. She pointed out that by the year 2050, the world’s aging population is expected to double, totaling two billion adults aged 60 years and older. As America’s population grays, social media can be influential for the late-life development of baby boomers, caregivers to the elderly, and senior care providers. As someone who teaches social media to seniors, I can relate to Melody’s mission. This has to be a big growth area as we move forward.
