Very Sterilized

• In a lot of schools, it’s impossible to celebrate any types of holidays. People feel as though their traditions and cultures are being ripped out from underneath them. While most are not looking for overly religious celebrations of the holidays, they still want to bring some joy to their children and show them how culture is an integral part of American society. Many parents hope that at the least, some of these traditions could be brought into their history lessons or that a class covering all religions could be offered – so that no tradition is given preference over another.
