- Entertainment and communications technologies have become our learning technologies. Virtually all content is available in digital format and the power of smart phones, computers, and connections allows you access anything from almost anywhere. Learning media also contains videos and simulations (games if you will) in addition to text as still photos. Games can offer a sense of strategic thinking.
