Allow Mistakes

• We are not saying to avoid punishment, but actually let mistakes happen first. Your teen will make mistakes. They will do it behind your back if you are not realistic with them. Make sure your teen is aware of various consequences of each mistake, then give them the choice. They will never learn from being hounded, only from making their own mistakes, regardless of what or how many times you tell them.
