Does College Seem Like a Scheme?

• Just what exactly is the reason for higher education in today’s society? Lately, it seems more like it’s some kind of financial scheme in order to dupe you out of your money. A large portion of graduates are faced with $30,000+ in debts due to school loans, and usually don’t start their careers in the same field they studied. As more and more employers are looking for people with experience over a degree, does it make sense to invest so much money into learning a subject you may never experience?




• Community colleges may have the same or better effect on your life as a four-year college at less than half of the annual tuition and fees. If you are to go into debt from your education, wouldn’t you rather reduce the damage to your pocketbook?
