There is a twofold purpose for these summaries. The first is to assist you with purchasing decisions. The summaries contain the key concepts from the books, but lack the detailed evidence and interesting stories that support the author’s claims. The second purpose is to help you review and internalize the key concepts. I started summarizing books as part of my doctoral work as I wasn’t happy with how much I remembered after I read a book.
