Employment Outlook

  • According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the job outlook for landscape architects is expected to grow 16 per cent, or about as fast as average, between 2010 and 2020. The BLS also notes that the 2010 median pay was $62,090 per year. Landscape architects usually work full-time. Many of them are salaried and work 50 or more hours per week. This is important information because a strong work ethic is associated with this type of career.
